The recent commitment of Maalik Murphy, the former Texas quarterback, to Duke, joins the list of notable quarterbacks finding new programs. This roster includes Dequan Finn from Toledo (now at Baylor), Brock Vandagriff from Georgia (heading to Kentucky), Dante Moore from UCLA (choosing Oregon), Dillon Gabriel from Oklahoma (also opting for Oregon), and Duke’s Riley Leonard (committing to Notre Dame).
The transfer commitment of former Buckeye starter Kyle McCord to Syracuse made waves, leading to speculation about Ohio State coach Ryan Day’s potential search for quarterback options within the transfer portal.
