Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in a Chelsea player seems to be diminishing. Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah were both linked to Spurs. However, journalist Ben Jacobs suggests that Chalobah’s standing on Spurs’ priority list has declined as they focus more on acquiring other central defenders.

Chalobah has been sidelined due to injury this season and, upon his return, may encounter difficulties breaking into Mauricio Pochettino’s squad. Pochettino currently has Thiago Silva, Axel Disasi, and Benoit Badiashile as available center-backs, with Levi Colwill, who naturally plays in that position, also an option.

Despite Chalobah’s potential return to fitness, it appears he may not be Tottenham’s primary target for the center-back position in the upcoming January transfer window.
