Jalin Hyatt, a former wide receiver for the Tennessee Vols, concluded his rookie season prematurely this past Sunday.
Selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, Hyatt was sidelined from the Giants’ game versus the Philadelphia Eagles due to a hamstring injury. Before his exit due to injury on Sunday, the ex-Vol managed to secure one reception for five yards.
Hyatt wrapped up his rookie campaign tallying 23 catches for 373 yards without scoring any touchdowns. His standout performance occurred in late November during a victory against the New England Patriots, where he amassed five receptions for 109 yards.
The challenges of the Giants’ struggling offensive line, combined with constant changes in the quarterback position, significantly limited Hyatt’s productivity throughout the 2023 season.
