Former Tennessee Volunteers defensive back Wesley Walker has secured a new college affiliation within the ACC.

Tennessee experienced a notable departure in their secondary when the transfer portal opened, with one key contributor being defensive back Wesley Walker. Walker had been a significant asset for the Vols during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, tallying 56 tackles, six pass deflections, two sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception in his tenure at Knoxville, Tennessee.

He revealed his decision on Monday morning regarding his transfer destination. Walker is set to join the Louisville Cardinals for the upcoming season, marking his return to the ACC after spending the initial three years of his collegiate career with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets before making the move to Tennessee.
