Debunking Rumors: No Truth to Speculation on Bills vs. Steelers Weather Emergency

As the Buffalo Bills prepare to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Sunday afternoon’s Wild Card playoff game at Highmark Stadium, rumors surrounding the potential impact of snowy weather on the game’s location and start time have been clarified.

Contrary to earlier speculation, CBS NFL insider Jonathan Jones reported that there is “no truth” to the notion of relocating the game due to weather concerns in Western New York. Despite the Buffalo area expecting 70 percent snow coverage and a high of 29 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday, the game will proceed as scheduled at Highmark Stadium.

Rumors had surfaced online suggesting a possible move to Cleveland to avoid adverse weather conditions, drawing parallels to a past situation when the Bills played the Cleveland Browns at Ford Field in Detroit. However, reputable league sources dismissed this speculation, emphasizing that the game will take place at Highmark Stadium.

The kickoff for the Bills vs. Steelers matchup remains scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
