Towns’ Young GoalKeeper And Major star player goes on loan.
Ipswich Town’s young goalkeeper, Woody Williamson, has embarked on a loan stint with Cheshunt in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
The 17-year-old debuted for the Ambers in a 3-2 loss against Chatham Town over the weekend.
Cheshunt currently finds themselves in the relegation zone, enduring a five-match losing streak. Williamson, who was part of Arsenal’s academy before joining Ipswich as a schoolboy in the summer of 2020, might feature in their upcoming match against Margate tomorrow night.
Having secured his first professional deal with Ipswich last summer, Williamson is also a Scotland U19 international.
