Plymouth Argyle has named Darryl Flahavan as their latest goalkeeping coach.

Plymouth Argyle’s new head coach, Ian Foster, has made his first addition to the backroom staff by appointing Daryl Flahavan as the goalkeeping coach. With prior experience in similar roles at Leeds United, Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday, and Wigan Athletic, the 45-year-old brings a considerable amount of coaching expertise to Home Park. The announcement of Flahavan’s hiring coincided with the club’s announcement of the departure of the head of fitness and conditioning, Elliot Turner. Flahavan, who left Wigan in July, took on the role of goalkeeping coach for the Chinese Taipei national team during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Oman and Malaysia in November.
