Vanderbilt embarks on a journey to take on their in-state rivals, the Tennessee Lady Volunteers.

Tennessee has made an impressive start in SEC play, currently holding a 3-1 record. Despite facing considerable challenges this season, including losses to four ranked opponents in the nonconference segment, the Lady Volunteers temporarily dropped to a 4-5 record. Nevertheless, they have made a strong comeback, achieving a commendable 11-6 record by winning six of their last seven games.

The resurgence can be attributed largely to Tennessee’s potent offense, which ranks third in scoring within the SEC. With five players averaging double-digit points per game, the Lady Volunteers have played a pivotal role in their recent success.
