Lehi High School received a visit from Glen Elarbee, the offensive line coach for the Tennessee Volunteers, who checked in on Bear Tenney, a three-star tight end in the 2025 class hailing from Lehi, Utah. The Tennessee coaching staff has been actively navigating the recruiting trail, recently securing George MacIntyre from Brentwood Academy as a pivotal addition to their upcoming class.

Despite the success with MacIntyre, the coaching staff remained focused on their recruiting efforts. Head coach Josh Heupel made a stop at Vero Beach High School to assess the potential of four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford, a highly sought-after defensive prospect with interests from Florida, Miami, and Ohio State. Simultaneously, Glen Elarbee ventured to Utah to evaluate Lehi’s tight end, Bear Tenney, who holds the No. 376 spot in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

While the Vols have already secured a tight end in the form of Jack VonDorselaer from Southlake Carroll in the 2025 class, they recognize the need to bolster their depth at the position beyond their top two players. Considering this, the possibility of adding multiple tight ends in this recruiting class remains a significant consideration for Tennessee, and they are open to embracing it.
