Nottingham Forest and Marseille are in competition to secure the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Gio Reyna.
Marseille is competing with Nottingham Forest for the potential signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Gio Reyna. Nottingham Forest has been in discussions with the German club regarding a loan move for the United States international. The Premier League team is interested in including an option to purchase the 21-year-old as part of the agreement. Gio Reyna’s contract with Dortmund is set to expire in June 2025, and he recently signed with the prominent agent Jorge Mendes in December.
In a bid to secure Reyna, Marseille has also initiated talks with the Bundesliga side. The winger has faced challenges in securing playing time at Dortmund this season, having started only twice and made 11 additional appearances as a substitute. Despite his efforts, Reyna has yet to register any goals or assists in his 12 appearances across all competitions this season.
