Former Falcons Head Coach Arthur Smith is in consideration for the Offensive Coordinator position with the Steelers, undergoing an interview.

According to information from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Arthur Smith, the former coach of the Atlanta Falcons, is set to interview for the offensive coordinator position with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Having held the position of head coach for the Atlanta Falcons over the last three seasons, Smith achieved a 21-30 record during his tenure. However, he was relieved of his duties on January 8, also known as Black Monday, following a season-ending 48-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Notably, after the game, Smith confronted Saints coach Dennis Allen following a late-game touchdown that further compounded the team’s defeat.
