The Patriots are said to be scheduling an interview with Scott Turner for the position of offensive coordinator, according to reports.

The New England Patriots are actively searching for a new offensive coordinator, and the list of potential candidates continues to grow. The latest addition to this list is Scott Turner, as reported by Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.

Scott Turner, 41, is following in the footsteps of his father, Norv Turner, who had a successful career as an NFL coach. Despite receiving opportunities from his father along the way, Scott has also built a coaching résumé independently.

His coaching journey began at the college and high school levels before joining the Carolina Panthers in 2011 as a quality control coach. He later joined the Cleveland Browns as a wide receivers coach, working alongside his father. In 2014, Turner followed Norv to the Minnesota Vikings, where he focused on coaching the quarterbacks.

In 2017, he briefly served as an analyst at Michigan before rejoining his father in 2018, this time with the Carolina Panthers, where Norv was the offensive coordinator, and Scott coached quarterbacks. Following the conclusion of his father’s career in 2019, Scott Turner moved to Washington with longtime Carolina head coach Ron Rivera. In Washington, he assumed the role of offensive coordinator.
