Arkansas Are Highly Greatfull As The Welcome A New Player In There Team Calld:  Ahkhari Johnson

Ranked as the 80th overall player in Texas and 18th in his position, Johnson received offers from notable programs such as Arizona State, Duke, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Stanford, TCU, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, and others. However, he committed to the Razorbacks on June 14, 2023.

Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 179 pounds, Johnson played on both sides of the ball at Pleasant Grove High School. In Fayetteville, he is expected to primarily contribute as a defensive back.

Known for his agility, speed, and keen awareness in open-field situations, Johnson possesses significant potential in the secondary, especially once he becomes familiar with college coverages and schemes. His dynamic play-making skills could also be an asset in special teams, serving as a kick or punt returner.

Hailing from Texarkana, Johnson already shares a connection with fellow Razorback defensive end Landon Jackson, having played together for one season in high school. Following his official visit to Arkansas last year, Johnson emphasized the positive relationship he has developed with the Hogs’ coaching staff, specifically mentioning Deron Wilson and Coach Marcus Woodson.
