Sherrone Moore, the newly appointed head coach for Michigan, is reportedly set to designate Kirk Campbell as the new offensive coordinator for the team, as per information from Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.
In the previous season, Campbell served as the QB coach for Michigan and played a key role in the development of J.J. McCarthy, potentially positioning him as a first-round draft pick. Campbell also took on the role of interim OC for Michigan during their victory against ECU.
Beginning his football journey as a wide receiver at Mercyhurst University from 2004 to 2007, Campbell later transitioned into coaching, starting as a graduate assistant at West Virginia Wesleyan College. After gaining experience in various coaching roles, he eventually secured the position of offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Old Dominion from 2020 to 2021.
