The Las Vegas Raiders have identified their new candidate, once more. Luke Getsy, the recently-dismissed offensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears as of January 10, is anticipated to assume the role of the next offensive coordinator for the Raiders, as reported by Sports Illustrated.
This development follows Kliff Kingsbury withdrawing himself from consideration for the position and reportedly engaging in discussions with the Washington Commanders to take on the role of their primary offensive coach. The Raiders had interviewed five potential candidates for the position, including Getsy, Kingsbury, Chip Kelly from UCLA, former Cleveland Browns offensive coach Alex Van Pelt, and Pittsburgh Steelers receivers coach Mike Sullivan.
