The officials for Leeds United’s FA Cup Fourth Round Replay against Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday have been confirmed, with Robert Jones appointed as the referee. Jones, based in Merseyside, is a member of Select Group 1 and the FIFA list of referees, officiating his first Premier League game in 2019.
In his most recent encounter with Leeds in April 2023, he oversaw their 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road. Tuesday’s match will mark his 17th time officiating a Leeds United fixture, the highest for any club he has refereed. In these matches, Leeds has secured eight wins, five draws, and suffered three losses under Jones’ refereeing. He has issued 24 yellow cards and one red card to Leeds players.
