Brady Reacts to Belichick’s Non-Hiring according to Patriots Pass.

The football world is now privy to one of the most significant reactions, that of Tom Brady, regarding the ongoing unemployment of former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

Ultimately, the fates of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady appear inseparable. Currently, neither is slated for NFL Sundays, at least until the official announcement of the latter’s deal with Fox.

If the football community anticipated a comment on Belichick’s job status, or lack thereof, from a former New England Patriot, it was undoubtedly Brady, who shared a dynamic coaching partnership with the head coach, resulting in five Super Bowl runs. Brady fin

ally broke his silence on the recent episode of his “Let’s Go!” podcast, offering a somewhat passive yet empathetic response.

“I don’t know the criteria for hiring coaches. I’ve never been a part of it. I mean, I’m surprised the greatest coach ever doesn’t have a job, absolutely,” remarked Brady to co-hosts Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. “But I’m surprised by a lot of things in the NFL. There’s a lot of things that happen, for one reason or another, that don’t go exactly the way you think they should go.”

Since Brady’s breakout during the 2001 season, his fate and legacy have been intertwined with Belichick’s, marking one of the longest and perhaps most tumultuous yet successful collaborations in NFL history. Nearly 84 of Belichick’s 333 victories as a head coach were achieved with Brady as the guiding force under center.

Acknowledging the parallel, Brady expressed empathy for Belichick’s situation, drawing a comparison to his own experience on the free-agent market before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
