On Saturday, Joakim Dodson, a three-star wide receiver prospect from Collierville High School in Tennessee, declared his commitment to the University of Tennessee. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 178 pounds, Dodson chose the Vols over competing offers from Missouri, Cincinnati, and Indiana. In the class of 2025, he holds the overall rank of 546, standing as the 80th wide receiver prospect and the 15th player in Tennessee, as per 247sports. Tennessee extended a scholarship offer to Dodson on June 13, 2023. With Dodson’s commitment, the Vols’ 2025 class now includes six prospects: cornerback Dylan Lewis, running back Justin Baker, cornerback Tyler Redmond, tight end Jack Van Dorselaer, quarterback George MacIntyre, and Dodson himself.
