Charlton Athletic’s manager, Nathan Jones, excluded Conor Coventry and Louie Watson from the matchday squad in last night’s 1-1 draw against Lincoln City. This decision followed the duo’s starting roles in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Reading.

For the League One match at The Valley, Jones opted to field George Dobson and Karoy Anderson in the midfield, leaving Coventry and Watson on the sidelines. Coventry, acquired from West Ham United in the January transfer window, and Watson, currently on a season-long loan from Luton Town, took on running duties during the game.
