This week, Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna discussed the status of one of the club’s loaned players.
McKenna confirmed that left-back Brandon Williams has not rejoined the club since returning to Manchester United last month. Despite heading back to Old Trafford for a medical evaluation, McKenna, a former United first-team coach, stated that the defender has not received clearance to resume playing.
Speaking to the press, McKenna stated, “He’s still with United.” Williams, now 23, had displayed consistent performance earlier in the season, starting eight games in the Championship. Additionally, he made seven appearances off the bench and featured in two League Cup matches from the start.
