The Los Angeles Chargers, under the leadership of Jim Harbaugh, are expanding their already exceptional coaching staff with another addition who happens to be a former player.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Bolts have brought on board Nick Hardwick, a former offensive lineman, to serve as their new assistant offensive line coach.
During his 11-year career, Hardwick played for the then-San Diego Chargers from 2004 to 2014. Notably, he earned Pro Bowl honors in 2006 and secured a spot on the San Diego Chargers 50th Anniversary Team.
Unfortunately, Hardwick’s playing career was cut short due to serious health concerns, leading to his retirement. Despite his lack of coaching experience, the 42-year-old has now joined the Chargers coaching staff.
