Breaking news: The Vikings unveil two further additions to their coaching staff.

On Friday, Minnesota expanded its coaching staff with the addition of an assistant offensive line coach and an assistant to the head coach. Shaun Sarrett, previously with the Los Angeles Chargers, joins as the assistant offensive line coach after a successful tenure with the Chargers, where he contributed to their top 10 total offense rankings for three consecutive seasons. With over three decades of coaching experience across various levels, Sarrett brings a wealth of knowledge to the Vikings.

Henry Schneider IV, formerly with the Las Vegas Raiders, assumes the role of assistant to the head coach after five seasons with the Raiders, where he held positions such as manager of coaching operations and football operations coordinator. Schneider’s prior experience also includes two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

These appointments mark the latest additions for the Vikings this offseason, following the recent hiring of Marcus Dixon as their defensive line coach and the expansion of assistant head coach Mike Pettine’s responsibilities to include overseeing outside linebackers.
