The NBA resumed action on Thursday after the All-Star break, and the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks continued their winning streaks.

Both teams secured their seventh consecutive victories, with Luka Doncic contributing 41 points and Kyrie Irving adding 29 as the Mavericks defeated the Phoenix Suns 123-113 at home. In another game, the Celtics claimed a 129-112 victory against the Chicago Bulls, with Derrick White scoring 28 points and Jayson Tatum contributing 25.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors emerged victorious over the Los Angeles Lakers with a score of 128-110.

Despite trailing by three points at halftime, the league-leading Boston Celtics took control in the third quarter, ultimately achieving a 44-12 record. The Mavericks, with a 33-23 record, matched the Phoenix Suns after trailing by three points at halftime but initiating a 16-0 run in the third quarter and securing the lead.

Devin Booker scored 35 points for the Suns, and Kevin Durant added 23. Reflecting on the game, Doncic remarked to TNT, “It’s always tough to come back from All-Star; the first game’s always tough.”
