However, there’s a suggestion that this selection doesn’t necessarily have to be made with the third overall pick. A more strategic approach could begin by focusing on Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who stands out as a prominent figure in this year’s draft class.

During an interview with CBS News Boston, Mayo stated, “We’re gonna draft the best player for a position that’s very important,” hinting at a quarterback being the likely choice.
Given this, the Patriots have the option to stay put and select the remaining top quarterback after the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders make their choices. This could involve picking from the likes of USC’s Caleb Williams, North Carolina’s Drake Maye, or LSU’s Jayden Daniels.
