Jalen Reeves-Maybin, a former linebacker for the Tennessee Vols, has ascended to a significant role in the NFL as he was appointed the new president of the NFLPA (players union) on Friday. Currently contributing as a linebacker and special teams asset for the Detroit Lions, Reeves-Maybin, who had previously served on the NFLPA’s executive committee, takes over the position from JC Tretter.
