Dennis is set to join the USA MLS side Minnesota United as Assistant Head Coach.

His final match with the Sky Blues will be this Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Quarter Final against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Since joining City in June 2021, the 49-year-old has become a valued and popular member of the team, contributing to their rise as a Championship side and reaching the Play-Off Final in the 2022/23 season.

Manager Mark Robins expressed gratitude for Dennis’s dedication and contribution, acknowledging his integral role in the team’s success. He wished Dennis and his family well in their new venture with Minnesota United.

In his farewell statement, Dennis thanked the Coventry City fans for their support and cherished memories, including leading the team to victory against Sheffield United. He also shared his fondness for the pre-match anthem “We Live And Die In These Towns.”

Coventry City will announce the appointment of a new first-team coach in the near future.
