Leeds United has reached an agreement to bring Connor Roberts on loan from Burnley.

The 28-year-old Wales international is currently en route for his medical examination before finalizing the loan move to the Championship club, with no mandatory purchase clause included.

The acquisition of Roberts addresses Leeds’ need for a right-back, particularly after Djed Spence’s loan was terminated early and long-serving player Luke Ayling departed for Middlesbrough.

Roberts has featured in 14 matches for Burnley across various competitions this season.

Leeds, currently positioned fourth in the Championship, will face Bristol City in their upcoming match tomorrow.
