The national media, notably ESPN, is overlooking an essential position group for the Tennessee Vols as they prepare for the 2024 season.
In a recent report, ESPN highlighted the top 10 returning pass catchers in college football for the upcoming season, yet not one Tennessee wide receiver was mentioned.
This omission comes as somewhat of a shock, especially considering that a Tennessee wide receiver, Jalin Hyatt, claimed the Biletnikoff Award in 2022. Furthermore, since then, the Vols have acquired several top-tier talents at the wide receiver position through both high school recruiting and the NCAA transfer portal.
