Maxx Crosby, standout player for the Las Vegas Raiders, has shed light on the mindset of their new head coach, Antonio Pierce, as they gear up for the upcoming 2024 season.
Pierce assumed the role of permanent head coach for the Raiders following a successful interim stint towards the end of the previous season.
During an episode of The Rush With Maxx Crosby podcast, Crosby expressed, “Antonio instills confidence in the team. When you have a coach who genuinely believes in you, it becomes contagious. That belief propelled us to victory in Kansas City on Christmas Day. We were certain we would win.”
Despite external skepticism, Crosby emphasized the team’s unwavering belief, adding, “While many doubted us, we never wavered. AP’s authenticity is undeniable.”
Crosby also suggested that Pierce has fostered a positive atmosphere within the Raiders’ locker room, noting, “When we step into the facility, the emphasis is on enjoyment. We’re here to have fun; that’s the essence of football. It’s a game, after all. If it’s not enjoyable, what’s the point?”
