“Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson Refutes False Rumors about Benji Marshall”

Wests Tigers’ CEO Shane Richardson strongly denounced rumors surrounding Benji Marshall as ‘false’ after the club uncovered indications that former recruitment manager Scott Fulton may have been attempting to discredit the coach through the media.

Last week, doubts were raised regarding Marshall’s dedication to his role, with suggestions that he does not invest the same amount of time into his work as his counterparts at other clubs.

Marshall responded to these rumors, asserting that he is consistently the ‘first in the building’ before training each day. He acknowledged that he prioritizes family time between 5-8pm every evening to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

The Tigers suspect that former staff member Fulton, son of rugby league icon Bob Fulton, has been actively undermining Marshall, as detailed in The Sydney Morning Herald.

Speaking on Nine’s 100% Footy on Monday night, Richardson commended Marshall’s commitment and professionalism.
