“Daniel Loitz’s Extensive Involvement in Sports: Investments in Women’s Teams and a Canadian Franchise League”

A recent bid for the club came from German investor Daniel Loitz. iNews reported that his offer, made in January, was approximately £28 million. However, they also noted that he had failed to provide proof of funds to the EFL.

Loitz already has significant involvement in the sport, with investments in several women’s teams and a franchise league in Canada. According to The Telegraph, he is also in advanced negotiations to acquire the rugby union club London Irish, a move that would potentially see the team playing their home matches at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, as reported by iNews. Sky Sports indicates that discussions for both of these potential acquisitions are ongoing.
