Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton has previously engaged in recruiting efforts for notable free agents, although his activity in this regard has been relatively low this year. However, that changed recently. On Friday, Hilton took to social media to extend a recruiting message to free-agent cornerback Xavien Howard.
Howard, who is approaching 31 years of age, had a limited appearance in just 13 games last season due to injuries, which led to his release from Miami. Despite this, he boasts a previous All-Pro status and represents the type of potential “prove-it” deal that could interest the Bengals.
