“Return of Kadyn Proctor Boosts Alabama Football’s Offensive Line”

Help is on the way for Alabama football’s offensive line as last season’s starting left tackle, Kadyn Proctor, is expected to return to Tuscaloosa after a brief stint at Iowa.

Proctor’s return will provide much-needed support to an offensive line that is currently short on numbers. With JC Latham departing for the NFL, the Crimson Tide currently only has four scholarship tackles, falling below the desired threshold set by new head coach Kalen DeBoer.

Although DeBoer cannot officially comment on Proctor’s impending return, he did discuss the current state of the tackle position after Thursday’s practice.

“In terms of the offensive line, especially when you consider our scholarship count, we are lacking in numbers there. You need a certain number of players to navigate through a season. Despite this, our players are getting valuable reps and improving each day,” DeBoer remarked. “I’m proud of their dedication and hard work. However, our scholarship numbers for the offensive line are still not where we ideally want them to be heading into the fall.”
