The Tennessee Titans have reached an agreement with L’Jarius Sneed on a four-year contract worth $76.4 million.
ESPN’s Ian Rapoport reported Sneed’s deal on Tuesday, following his acquisition by the Titans in a trade just four days earlier. The 27-year-old cornerback also secured $55 million in guaranteed money and received a $20 million signing bonus.
Sneed, who played a significant role in the Kansas City Chiefs’ consecutive titles in 2022 and 2023, spent his first four NFL seasons with the Chiefs.
However, Sneed had to depart from the Chiefs due to salary cap constraints. As his previous contract came to an end, the Chiefs allowed him to explore trade options, intending to use a franchise tag to maximize his trade value.
In exchange for Sneed, the Chiefs received a third-round pick in the 2025 draft and swapped seventh-round picks with the Titans for the upcoming draft.
