This was one of two injuries that the Suns encountered during the defeat, as Jusuf Nurkic was sidelined for the majority of the second half due to a right ankle sprain.
Following the game, head coach Frank Vogel confirmed that Beal had sprained his right ring finger. On a positive note, the X-rays showed no signs of significant injury, indicating that Beal had avoided any major harm.
Commenting on the injury, Beal mentioned, “It got caught in a strange, awkward way, I believe in someone’s jersey.”
Before exiting the game, Beal had managed only 9 points on a challenging 4-for-11 shooting night. Nonetheless, he contributed six assists and secured five rebounds.
