The Lady Vols basketball program has initiated its second-ever coaching search.
Tennessee’s athletic director, Danny White, faces the task of appointing a new women’s basketball coach following the dismissal of Kellie Harper after her five-season tenure ended on April 1.
An initial list of potential candidates, comprising 11 names, has been compiled. This list includes notable figures such as Notre Dame coach Niele Ivey, USC coach Lindsay Gottlieb, Louisville coach Jeff Walz, Oregon State coach Scott Rueck, UCLA coach Cori Close, Colorado coach JR Payne, Ole Miss coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin, Duke coach Kara Lawson, Jackson State coach Tomekia Reed, Oklahoma coach Jennie Baranczyk, and Vanderbilt coach Shea Ralph.
