Arkansas running back Isaiah Augustave is poised to make a move into the transfer portal.

The Arkansas football squad has encountered its first roster change of the spring, as running back Isaiah Augustave revealed his intention to enter the transfer portal through X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday.

During his sophomore tenure with the Razorbacks, Augustave showcased considerable promise, particularly in his freshman campaign at Fayetteville. Across four games, he accumulated 202 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries, notably achieving a 101-yard performance against FIU and an 80-yard outing against No. 9 Missouri.

In his statement, Augustave expressed gratitude to Coach Pittman and the coaching staff for the opportunity to play the sport he loves. He also thanked his teammates for the camaraderie and experiences they shared.

Augustave, previously a three-star prospect in the 2023 class according to Rivals, had opportunities to shine during the Hogs’ annual Red-White spring game, garnering seven carries for 10 yards.

“After thoughtful deliberation with my family, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal, preserving three years of eligibility,” Augustave declared. “It’s time for me to prioritize my own interests. Thank you, Hog nation!”

Per Pro Football Focus, Augustave concluded the 2023-24 season with an overall grade of 74.7. With his departure, Arkansas now possesses six available scholarships for utilization in the transfer portal, officially opening on Tuesday.
