Nike is close to finalizing a deal with Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark for an endorsement contract, as reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Mike Vorkunov, and Ben Pickman. The agreement is anticipated to be valued in the eight-figure range and is set to feature a signature shoe for the WNBA’s No. 1 overall draft pick in 2024.
Clark, who was one of five college athletes to ink NIL deals with Nike back in October 2022, had the freedom to explore various sneaker deal options upon concluding her college career. Both Under Armour and Adidas reportedly presented substantial offers, but Nike seems poised to secure her signature.
