Angel Reese discusses her longing for certain aspects of her time at LSU since joining the Chicago Sky.
Former LSU women’s basketball standout Angel Reese is adapting to life as a professional player in the WNBA with the Chicago Sky, and there are certain aspects of playing under Kim Mulkey at LSU that she finds herself yearning for in her new role.
Reese was selected by the Chicago Sky as the No. 7 overall pick in the WNBA Draft held in April. During the preseason, she showcased her skills with impressive performances, including two games where she scored 13 points each. Alongside Caitlin Clark, who now plays for the Indiana Fever, Reese has brought significant star power to the WNBA in her initial weeks in the league.
In a recent interview with Athlon Sports, Reese revealed that she misses certain elements of her time at LSU the most. She expressed a longing for some of the simpler aspects of the college game, hoping they would translate more seamlessly to her experience in the WNBA.
