Hubert Davis and Sean May were in the front row to watch Class of 2025 star.
The first day of the live recruiting period began on Friday, and the UNC basketball program quickly evaluated some of their top targets.
One standout player that Hubert Davis and Sean May ensured they watched was Class of 2025 star Nate Ament, who delivered an impressive performance at the Adidas 3Stripes Select Basketball event in Texas.

Ranked No. 13 in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports, Ament showcased his skills with a 25-point game, hitting five of his nine three-point attempts, impressing a large gathering of Division I coaches.
At 6-foot-9, Ament’s potential as a “stretch four” fits well with Davis’ offensive strategy, which explains the strong interest from UNC’s coaching staff.
Given his recent trajectory, Ament is likely to become a five-star prospect in the upcoming rankings. Following his impressive performance on Friday, expect UNC to intensify their efforts to recruit this talented player to Chapel Hill in the coming months.
