The newly appointed Razorbacks coach, John Calipari, purchases a $2.2 million mansion.

The new head coach of the Razorbacks recently bought a $2.2 million house in the Clear Creek neighborhood, as indicated by property records. This gated community near Blessings Golf Club is approximately 5.5 miles north of the University of Arkansas campus.

The 7,350-square-foot residence features five bedrooms and offers views of the 10th and 11th fairways of the golf club. Originally built in 2006, it underwent renovations by the Goddard Design Group.

Calipari, who signed a lucrative five-year contract with the Razorbacks in April worth $7.5 million per year plus bonuses, marks a notable addition to Arkansas’ coaching staff. Previously, he achieved significant success during his tenure as the basketball coach at the University of Kentucky, with over 400 wins, four Final Four appearances, and a national championship.

In a shift from the norm, Calipari joins Eric Musselman as the only Arkansas coaches in recent times to opt for homes in Clear Creek, diverging from the tradition of residing in Bridgewater Estates, where several former and current Arkansas coaches have lived.
