Oklahoma has welcomed another experienced pitcher to their roster.

Sam Landry, a former pitcher for Louisiana, has announced her decision to transfer to Norman. In her last season, Landry logged 194 innings, striking out 165 batters, issuing 65 walks, and concluding with a 2.08 ERA. She wrapped up the year with a 24-10 record and pitched 10 complete games. Landry was recognized as an All-Sun Belt First Team member and earned a spot on the NFCA All-Central Region First Team.

In 2023, as a sophomore, Landry was named the Sun Belt Championship Most Outstanding Player. With one year of eligibility left, she joins Norman with Patty Gasso having five roster spots to fill during the offseason, making Landry the fifth addition from the transfer portal.
