Arkansas defensive lineman Landon Jackson has been selected for the 2024 Preseason All-SEC Team.

Arkansas defensive lineman Landon Jackson was named to the Preseason All-SEC Team, receiving second-team honors from media at SEC Football Media Days.

Jackson, who enters the 2024 season as a Preseason All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, showcased his prowess as one of the nation’s top pass rushers last year. Hailing from Texarkana, Texas, he recorded 44 total tackles, including 13.5 tackles for loss, along with 6.5 sacks and one pass breakup during his junior campaign with the Razorbacks.

Jackson’s standout performance came in a notable game against Alabama on October 14, where he set career highs with 11 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks, earning SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors. He concluded the season as Arkansas’ leader in tackles for loss (13.5) and sacks (6.5), becoming the first Razorback defensive lineman since Jake Bequette in 2011 to earn first-team All-SEC recognition.
