UNC Women’s Basketball welcomes a new Director of Basketball Operations to its staff.
The UNC women’s basketball program has appointed Shellie Greenman as its new Director of Basketball Operations, following the departure of Jessika Carrington to pursue other opportunities. Greenman arrives in Chapel Hill with extensive experience across multiple coaching roles:
– Clemson: Director of Operations
– North Florida: Director of Operations
– Florida: Program Assistant (focused on recruiting, planning, scouting)
– Jacksonville: Assistant Coach (working with perimeter players)
– Virginia Tech: Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
– Western Carolina: Associate Head Coach
– Miami (OH): Assistant Coach
– Tennessee-Chattanooga: Assistant Coach
– Tennessee Tech: Assistant Coach
While the coaching lineup for the Tar Heels undergoes changes from last season, Head Coach Courtney Banghart continues to bring in staff members who bring diverse experience and knowledge. Greenman’s proven track record in various coaching capacities suggests that her addition will be a valuable asset to the UNC women’s basketball program moving forward.
