Steelers Hold Workout for Former Giants WR.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly set to work out a wide receiver who previously played for the Cleveland Browns.

Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston has reported that Daylen Baldwin will have a workout with the Steelers on Monday, according to a league source.

Baldwin attended Farmington High School in Farmington, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, before committing to FCS program Morgan State as part of their Class of 2017.

In his freshman year in 2017, he recorded 16 receptions for 181 yards and a touchdown, followed by 14 catches for 152 yards and another touchdown in 2018.

Baldwin transferred to Jackson State in 2019, where he redshirted. During the COVID-19-affected 2020 season, he played in six games, making 27 receptions for 540 yards and seven touchdowns.

As a grad transfer for the 2021 season, Baldwin received multiple offers but opted to return home and play for Michigan, where he had 17 catches for 256 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games.

He declared for the 2022 NFL Draft but went undrafted. The Browns signed Baldwin as an undrafted free agent on August 3, 2022, but waived him on August 30. He was then signed to their practice squad on August 31.

Baldwin made one appearance for the Browns on December 17, catching two passes for 25 yards in a 13-3 victory against the Baltimore Ravens.

He signed a reserve/future contract on January 9, 2023, but was waived again by the Browns on August 4.

Baldwin joined the Minnesota Vikings on November 22 but was released on December 12. He signed another reserve/future contract on January 16 before being released again on May 7.
