Man Charged with Terrorist Threat Against Kansas City Chiefs Members at Morgan Wallen Concert.
A man has been charged with second-degree felony terrorist threats for allegedly threatening to shoot two members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization during a concert on Friday.
The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office stated that Aaron Brown was present at Morgan Wallen’s concert at Arrowhead Stadium and “threatened on social media to shoot two individuals” who were also at the event.
Law enforcement became aware of the threat on the social media platform X and subsequently tracked down Brown’s details, reaching out to his cellphone. Brown informed the authorities of his seat location in the stadium, leading to a 40-minute delay in the concert while they found him.
While the announcement did not specify which Chiefs players were threatened, sources from the New York Post and NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones were in attendance and even joined Wallen on stage during the concert.
According to Reilly, when questioned by police about the social media post, Brown admitted, “it was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake.” His bond has been set at $15,000 following the charges.
