Swift was born on December 13, 1989, about a year and a half after Iron Maiden released their seventh studio album, *Seventh Son of a Seventh Son*, in 1988. By that time, the band was already a major arena headliner and continues to fill large venues around the globe.
Since the release of her debut album in 2006, Swift has achieved extraordinary and almost unparalleled fame. Her Eras Tour has grossed over $1 billion, and she has sold an estimated 114 million albums in less than 20 years. Although Iron Maiden leads with 130 million album sales, Swift is likely to surpass them given her shorter career span.
