Maxx Crosby of the Raiders Responds to Trade Rumors: ‘I Have No Intention of Leaving’

Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby has been the focus of numerous trade rumors in recent weeks, and he has now addressed them.

With the Raiders sitting at 2-5 and enduring a three-game losing streak, the team’s morale has taken a significant hit.

Following the trade of Davante Adams to the New York Jets last week, speculation began to rise that the Raiders might be open to more trades.

Naturally, fans around the league are eager to see star defensive end Maxx Crosby, a three-time Pro Bowler and one of the NFL’s top defensive players, join their teams to instantly elevate their chances.

However, Raiders owner Mark Davis has already dismissed these rumors, though that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to circulate.

Crosby, a Michigan native, has been frequently linked to the Detroit Lions. With Aidan Hutchinson out for the season due to a broken leg, Lions fans are hoping Crosby could be the answer.

Crosby, known for his honesty about his career and the team’s state, addressed the rumors on his podcast, *The Rush.*

“Honestly, it’s crazy, bro,” Crosby said. “Last year, there was some trade talk. That’s when it all started, the ‘Send me to Detroit’ stuff. Their fan base got all over me, starting a whole movement. Meanwhile, I’m just doing my thing. I even had to address it with my teammates, like, ‘I’m not trying to leave.’ I know it’s a business and I don’t have 100 percent control over it, but I’ll say it loud and clear: I want to be a Raider.”

Crosby acknowledges that he doesn’t control trade decisions, but with Davis shutting down the rumors and Crosby reaffirming his commitment to the Raiders, a move before the November 5 deadline seems unlikely.

Despite missing his first NFL game in six years, Crosby is off to one of the best starts of his career, recording 23 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 11 quarterback hits, and 6.5 sacks.
