The Big West Player of the Year and All-Pacific Region selection will get a chance to have a large role for a competitive
team under coach Dawn Sullivan. The Tigers (22-9) are coming off an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance, where they lost to a felllow SEC team in Kentucky.
Alexander, of Alpharetta, Ga., finished her UH career 16th in career kills in program history with 1,225 and led the nation in total kills (611) at the time UH’s ended with a first-round sweep loss to TCU in Eugene, Ore.
Over the weekend, Alexander made a separate post thanking Hawaii for her three seasons in the islands.
“I am forever grateful that I was able to experience this beautiful place filled with amazing fans, friends and family! I will always hold a special place in my heart for Hawaii!” she wrote in part.
Middle Jacyn Bamis and backup setter Jackie Matias also entered the transfer portal following the 2024 season.
