Colts Receive Encouraging Injury Update Before Bears Game.

The Indianapolis Colts are struggling with a rough 0-2 start to the season, but their offense is set to receive a significant boost on Sunday as they prepare to face the Chicago Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium with a full-strength lineup.

According to ESPN, the Colts’ top wide receiver, Michael Pittman Jr., is expected to play despite being listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report due to back and calf injuries.

“Colts WR Michael Pittman, listed as questionable for Sunday due to back and calf injuries, is expected to play vs. the Bears, per source,” tweeted ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This is promising news for quarterback Anthony Richardson and a Colts offense that currently ranks last in the NFL in completion percentage (49.1%). Additionally, slot receiver Josh Downs is set to make his season debut after recovering from an ankle injury.
